Partner portal

An agency logs in, opens a site request for its own client and follows production by milestones, without a new quote for every job.

Where it came from

An agency spends hours putting together a brief and a quote for every job, and its client is left with no view of progress. The demand reached us, and the flow stalled in rounds of email, spreadsheet and calls.

The initiative was born to remove that friction. The agency opens the request, Netz produces, and both follow it by milestones, with no new quote for every job.

On the bench

Interface first: 9 of the 21 screens navigable with fictional data before any backend. Deciding the interface up front made the product decision cheaper.

Stacke handled the design system and the visual language. Denis architected the milestone states and transitions: draft, approved, in production, delivered.

A quick round with two partner agencies confirmed that the milestone flow solves the visibility pain.

Where it fits

It fits a digital agency that sells sites or landing pages as a recurring service and needs to deliver to the end client without negotiating scope and price on every project.

It works best when the agency already has volume and wants autonomy in following the work, with Netz behind it as reliable production capacity.

What we learned

Interface before backend makes the product decision cheaper. Nine navigable screens with fictional data validated the milestone flow with real agencies before a single line of API, and what would have been rework became a tweak of copy and screen order.

A visible milestone changes the conversation. When the agency and Netz see the same state, the talk moves from "how is it going?" to "what is missing to reach the next one?". Visibility replaces follow-up.

A design system is speed. The milestone component, with badge, timeline and action, shows up in 7 of the 9 screens. Standardising early freed Stacke to solve experience instead of redrawing a button on every screen.

Treating the partnership as a product, with onboarding, states, metrics and feedback, forced a clarity that an agency dashboard would not have forced. What was a feature became a roadmap.
